Shosh has maintained a life-long passion for creating Beauty, Health and Healing for the body and one’s environment. At the early age of fourteen Shosh was awarded a scholarship to the San Francisco Ballet; performing with various dance companies for the next twenty years. Dancing professionally she incurred several injuries and unexplained pains in her body. This wounding sparked her desire to learn more about the Body-Mind connection. Her healing journey led to studies for the next six years at the Ilana Rubenfeld Center in N.Y.C. and into private practice for the next twelve years as a Body-Centered Psychotherapist in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method. Shosh is a Synergist whose teaching style helps the student to deepen their Mind-Body awareness.
Shosh’s love of movement led her into ‘Tao Yin Fa, a form of Chi movement created by Fabien Maman, the Master/ pioneer of ‘Sound Therapy’ and founder of ‘Tama-Do’ (The way of the Soul) The Academy of Sound, Color, light, and Movement where she became a Tama-Do Practitioner.

Shosh’s New York studies included various forms of Yoga, Pilates, energetic healing modalities based in Oriental Medicine, Feng Shui, and Space Clearing. She was certified to teach Bikram Yoga in 2003.

After coming full circle back to the Phoenix area she graduated from the ‘Yoga Teacher training’ of SWIHA the ‘Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’. Shosh received her ‘Core Integration’ Mat Certification’ from Virginia Nichols of ‘Moving Breath Pilates’. Other teachers with whom she has attended Master classes, workshops and trainings include: Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Yoga and Nithya Dyhan Meditation), Lisa Takamiya, Mary Bruce, Mukunda Stiles, and Rod Stryker of ‘Para Yoga’.

Partnering with her husband Billy in the creation of Yoga Deva has been a dream realized. Shosh's ultimate passion is that she be a guide to your liberation and experience the light and bliss of your true self. Now the Vision continues with your participation in building our Yoga community together.

Billy's authentic teaching style has developed from his experience of living a very athletic life. First as a professional Dancer in Musical Theatre and then years of training and competing in Marathons and Triathelons. Running, swimming and biking became his meditation. Finding Yoga became a way to heal from the years of racing and a deepening of his understanding of the mind, body connection. One of his favorite sessions to teach is in the evening by candelight....this helps to draw your awareness inward supporting the student in making their own mind, body connection.

“The Power of knowing one’s abilities …The Essence of applying them to your everyday life.”
It is my destiny to train students to recognize their full fitness capability. I give them the tools they need to successfully reach their ultimate fitness goals. Every student will learn that no matter what their abilities are at this point there are no limits to which one can achieve.

Since my childhood I have been participating in fitness and sports programs from gymnastics to competing in organized leagues for track, softball, volleyball, and women’s competitive flag football. In addition, I have competed in several bodybuilding contests and completed over a dozen marathons, sprint Tri’s up to half ironman and cycling tours. During my bodybuilding training I increased my personal studies in nutrition to give me the knowledge I needed to place both 3rd then 2nd in amateur competitions. Since then I have studied Ayurvedic methods for nutritional healing through the Chopra Institute. My studies in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology have earned me my Personal Training Certification for the past 20 years. I have dedicated my life to teaching you, and anyone willing, how to maximize your physical abilities and take the steps to enjoying a healthy life. I am a mother of two beautiful girls that have kept me motivated to continue enjoying what I do… that is appreciating life and everyone in it!

Brittany continued her studies and received her 500 hr. RYT with Mary Bruce. She holds a 500 hr. Hatha Gong certification and continues to study with Lisa Cohen and Lorilee Gilmore. Brittany also enjoys leading Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga sessions. Rooted in the 8 limbs (Ashtanga), Brittany's easily accessible sessions incorporate Mantra, Pranayama breathing and Meditation for all levels.
